Mayor Dyer, Commissioner Hill, Commissioner Stuart and Commissioner Ortiz attended the ribbon cutting for Amelia Court, celebrating the first building to open at Creative Village. Amelia Court is a 256-unit, $56 million mixed-income apartment community, developed by Atlantic Housing and Banc of America Community Development Corporation.
Amelia Court is part of Creative Village Phase I, which also includes the UCF Downtown and Valencia Downtown campus opening in August 2019 with 8,000 students/faculty/staff. UCF’s Dr. Phillips Academic Commons and UnionWest at Creative Village open in August 2019. Creative Village Phase I represents $625 million in investment being delivered between 2019–2021.
