In January 2015, Orange County Public Schools announced a new PS-8 school to be built in the Parramore neighborhood, adjacent to Creative Village. The $60 million school, serving preschool through 8th grade, is scheduled to open in Fall of 2017 and is being touted as a “national model” for public education. Significant community partners include the Rosen Foundation, UCF, Boys & Girls Club of Central Florida, Valencia College and the City of Orlando.
